An up-and-coming new funk band called the Rapscallions is making their way into the limelight and it’ s not hard to see why. This energetic band had their first single, California Brain featured as a playable song on the Ubisoft‘s popular video game, Rocksmith.
The band describes themselves as “wacky, wild and full of surprises. The band’s bone-crushing, funky and ballsy music is catchy and fun…sort of reminiscent of early Red Hot Chili Peppers, but with a very modern twist,” on their Facebook page.
With catchy beats that get your head bobbing and lyrics that make you want to jump up in the air with the band, Rapscallions put on a great show.
Catch them on Saturday, March 16, 2013 as they release their second record “In My Head,” at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, California.
